Meet & Greet with Lyn Johnson and Lisa Branch-Tucker : 12/3/2011 The Club had a nice time talking with Lyn and Lisa about their debut novel Lady Undertaker at the Dandelion Pub. Lisa and Lyn were insightful, gracious and very warm. 
Lisa Scottoline Book Club Party 10/8/2011Lisa was the ultimate host. she was enthusiastic, warm, funny, and entertaining. It was an absolute beautiful day. Lisa opened her lovely home to us as well as 500 other people offering her time, food, beverage and a Q /A forum.We had a really nice time and look forward to attending next year!! We look fabulous in our purple scarves!
Skype Meeting with Cathie Beck June 24 2011:The Cozy Slippers Book Club met with author Cathie Beck to discuss her debut novel Cheap Cabernet: A Friendship at the Scott Memorial Library at Thomas Jefferson University via Skype. Despite some technical difficulties, the meeting was very productive and enjoyable. Cathie was funny, smart and very down to earth. We wish Cathie much success.
Spring Meet and Greet March 26, 2011:The Cozy Slippers Book Club met with debut author Tom McAllister at the Public House in Logan Square. We had a great time conversing and discussing "Bury Me In My Jersey". We hope Tom will visit us again!
Zahav and Jane Eyre Group Outing 2011:On Thursday March 10, 2011 the Cozy Slippers Book Club met at Zahava for drinks and a delicious middle eastern cuisine served family style. After wards we sprinted four blocks in light rain to the Ritz at the Bourse, took our seats and enjoyed a very passionate film: Jane Eyre for FREE!! Overall, the evening consisted of great company, food, and entertainment. Photos are also available on the club website photo slide show (located in right side bar on club site).
American Heart Walk 2010
Members of the Cozy Slippers Book Club had participated in the American Heart Walk on 11-17-2010 to help raise funds and awareness. It was an absolutely beautiful Day as we walked through the local park from Citizens Bank, Phillies Stadium. Fall Meet and Greet: September 25, 2010
